Windows 7 Network profile - from CMD type set = userprofile=c:\windows\system32\co nfig\systemprofile
Hi Login as the users network account onto laptop, from a command prompt type set, the users profile displays: userprofile=c:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile Login using my network account and my profile is userprofile=c:\windows\system32\config\username (where username is my name) - this is what I expect. I have deleted the profile via My Computer, advanced system settings, I have also verified the registry entry for the user profile is removed, ditto the users profile folder. Reboot, logon as user again profile recreates with the same userprofile=c:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile, looking at the USERS folder I can see that user.DomainName is created (where DomainName is my organisations domain name). Looking in the registry at the HKLM\........\ProfileList\S-#LongNo# the ProfileImagePath does point to c:\users\username.DomainName Any ideas how to fix this so it shows the proper profile reference to the users name when typing set, I don't think this is normal?
